Mr. Ramon “Raymond” Smith, 70, of Aberdeen, North Carolina, died Saturday, March 7, 2020, at FirstHealth/Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

 

Survivors:  Daughter, De’Amber Smith; siblings, Richard Smith (Faye), Dorothine Cethas (Joseph), Thomas Smith (Brenda), Wilma Allen (James), Roger Smith, Ella Smith, Betty Smith, Diane Barnes (Ronald), Kevin Smith, and Burnice Smith; one grandson, Cayden; and other relatives.

The family is receiving friends at 705 South Stephens Street, Southern Pines.

I didn't Mr. Smith very long, But from the time we first met he always invited me to have breakfast with him at the club. He always had a good fishing tale to tell and would take you to his favorite fishing hole to catch some. Peace to you Raymond and family. He is in a better place now.
