Mamie Legrand Cole, age 73 of Eagle Springs, North Carolina, died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at FirstHealth/Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst, North Carolina.  She was a dedicated member of Pleasant Hill AME Zion Church in Candor.  During her tenure at Pleasant Hill AME Zion Church, Mrs. Cole served on the Usher Board, the Choir, and she was a member of the Kitchen Committee.  She will be greatly missed.

 

Those left with many fond memories of Mrs. Cole are, her two sisters,  Annie Iola Kennedy and Aileen Littlejohn; one brother, William LeGrand  (Millie); two sisters-in law, Tishie Cole and  Ella  Farmer (Johnnie); and a  host of nieces,  nephews, other  relatives, and dear friends.

In addition to her late parents, Mrs. Cole was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Milton Cole, and three sisters, Grace  Bradley, MaryNell Collins, and Elizabeth  Digs.
