Mrs. Lucille Gilchrist McLaughlin, age 94, of Southern Pines, North Carolina, died Monday, December 19, 2022, at  FirstHealth/Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Mrs. McLaughlin is survived by one daughter, Sharon McLaughlin Russ, of Aberdeen, NC; four sons, Carl and Willie McLaughlin (Darlean) of Southern Pines, NC, James Wesley McLaughlin (Ava) of St. Petersburg, FL, and Jerry McLaughlin (Brenda) of Robbins, NC; four daughters-in-law, Linda McLaughlin, Deborah DeBerry, Shelia McLaughlin, and Carrie McRae; one son-in-law, Juan Russ; three sisters, Thelma G. Seymour of Atlanta, GA, Pauline G. McKayhan of Southern Pines, and Reva G. McNair of Fayetteville, NC; thirteen grandchildren, Melinda, Wendy, Christopher, Wesley Jarrell, Latoya “Nikki”, Nedra, Willie Jr.  “Will”, Whitney, Tiffany, Nicholas, Candace, Juan II “Mann”, and Joi; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
