Mrs. Faye McArthur Smith, 76, of Southern Pines, North Carolina, died Monday, August 22, 2022, at her residence.

Survivors:  Husband, Richard Smith; children, Angela Cooper (Larry), LaTonya Smith, and Tynea Smith (Kendrick); brothers, Verneal, Joshel, and Charles McArthur; sisters, Lucille McLeod, Maefield Pratt, and Arnettia Hairston; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
