Cousin Elaine, all I know is that I loved me some you! My heart hurt real bad when I heard you where no longer here. I refrained from asking God why. Didn?t know you were sick. As you and my baby boy share the same birthday and he was looking forward to seeing this year. God had other plans. He was disappointed ?! We shared a lot of good memories together at Full Gospel, over the phone, house visits and so much more. I will always remember your soft voice over the phone saying hello, then hey CUZ! I am really going to miss you tremendously as I know others will to. Sleep peaceful until you hear God call your name! I love you from my heart! Your Cuz Eric

Dear family and friends, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Elaine and I spoke on the phone about a week before her passing and although I was crying and concerned to hear that she was sick; she was a comfort to me when she said the words, ...?it is well...?. I can tell by the acknowledgments that her body of ork with children at her childcare center was not only important to the children and their families but more importantly to Our Lord. Yes, I believe the good book (The Holy Bible). Therefore, family and friends know that ?it is well.? Elaine and I were childhood friends born 3 days apart in a neighborhood where we could call each other from our yards. My favorite memory of her was seeing her confidence and passion on the basketball court in high school. She was ?the Kid? everybody?s inspiration. However although was very popular; she was so down to earth and everyone loved and admired her. She never lost that and I?ll never forget her. My mother thought of her as a daughter. She was a good woman and a true believer; and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She?ll always be a light that blessed an oftentimes dark world. However she?s with the Light of Lights and will never be in darkness in Heaven! Nevertheless I?ll not say goodbye to my friend...just farewell and Rest In Peace! ??
