Mrs. Clair Jones Cobb, 94, of Southern Pines, North Carolina, died Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Penick Village in Southern Pines.  She joined Union Grove FWB Church and remained a faithful member and mother of the church until her demise.

She is survived by her children, Alvin Martin of Aberdeen, NC, Robert Watson of Carthage, NC, Charles Cobb (Shirley) and Alphus Cobb (Maggie) of Bridgeport, CT, Donnie and Jasper Cobb (Jenice) of Stamford, CT, Herman Cagle of the Taylortown Municipality, Pinehurst, NC, Mary Cobb of Stamford, and Clara Payne of Bridgeport; daughters-in-law, Lisa Jones of Cameron, NC, Dorothy Johnson of Raleigh, NC, Sheila Cobb of Stamford, and Valerie Cagle Of Dadeville, Al;

brothers, Sam Jones Of Southern Pines, Thomas Jones (Jeri) of Carthage; eighty grandchildren, one hundred sixty-three great-grandchildren, one hundred twenty-three great-great-grandchildren, and twenty-nine great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and  dear friends; and the staff at Penick Village and Hospice of Southern Pines.
