Mrs. Barbara Jones Morrison, 61, of West End, North Carolina, died Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

For many years, Barbara was a faithful member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in West End, North Carolina.  She loved the Lord and her family very much.  Shopping, cooking, and going on beach trips were among the favorite things she enjoyed; Barbara was always “the life of the party”.

Those left to cherish fond memories of Barbara are her children, Tracy Jones (Broderick) of Asheboro, NC, Ricky Morrison, Jr. (Cindy) of Charlotte, NC, Tiauna Morrison (Andre) of the home, Makayla Patterson of the home, and Tionna Young of Eagle Springs, NC; three sisters, Linda Harrison of Eagle Springs, Faye Spruill of Pinehurst, NC, and Eva London (Jerome) of West End; three Godchildren, Zoe Reaves, Josiah McLean, and Abriea Williams; two brothers, Jason Pearson of Ellerbe, NC and Tim Spruill (Cathy) of Asheboro; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many dear friends.

In addition to her late husband, Ricky Morrison, Sr., Barbara was also preceded in death by her parents, Leola and John Spruill, and her brother, Samuel Jones.
