Mr. Walter Hill, age 66, of Pinebluff, North Carolina, died Friday, January 7, 2022, at FirstHealth/Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

 

Mr. Hill was a North Carolina Department of Public Safety retiree.  He was a US Army veteran, a well- known talented musician, and was also a recipient of The Order of the Long Leaf Pine.

 

Left to cherish fond memories of Mr. Hill are, his wife, Janice McLaughlin Hill of Pinebluff, North Carolina; his daughter, Caitlin Hill of Charlotte, North Carolina; siblings, Angela Hill of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Evelyn Hill (Brad) of Little Washington, North Carolina, Sandra Williams Powers of Charlotte, Jacqueline Williams Murphy (Octavius) of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and Artis Redell Williams (Pamela) of Waldorf, Maryland;  three nieces, Marilyn Coward (Eugene), Christine Stowe (Jay), and Janella Thompson, also his four-legged niece, Missie; along with his dearest friends, Clarence Nelson and Rodney Ingram; and a host of cousins, great-nieces, and nephews.
