Mr. Henry M. Highland Jr., age 92, of College Park, Georgia, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in Austell, Georgia.

Over a lifetime, Henry exemplified a commitment to the pursuit of success through handiwork, first as a precocious country boy and later as father, change maker and gentleman. Throughout Henry’s career, he thrived working with and for companies, non-profit organizations, Federal, State, and City governments, and was an impactful advocate for the elevation of all.

Henry leaves to mourn and cherish beautiful memories, a loving wife, Dorothy Highland of College Park, Georgia; his sons, Dwight Highland and daughter-in-law, Debra of  Staley, NC, and Ricky Brown and daughter-in-law, Leah of Clinton, MD; stepchildren, Ronald Threatt of Spring Hill, FL, James Holt of Atlanta, GA, and Sabrina Holt of Fort Washington, MD; fifteen grandchildren, Latonya, Brandon, Chandra, Ricky, Brittany, Vernica, Missy, Autumn, Tatyana, Rock, Candance, Toccara, Ericka, Matu, and Ashanti; ten great-grandchildren; and other relatives that includes a host of beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

Henry was a well-dressed, distinguished, ambitious, poignant, forward thinker and he will be dearly missed.
