Mr. Fabian Imaré Wilson, age 36, of Red Springs, North Carolina, formerly of Southern Pines died Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Survivors: His six children, Itasia Wilson of Hampton, GA, Jayden Ellerbe of Pinehurst, NC, Imani Wilson, of Southern Pines, NC, Fabian Wilson Jr. and Jordyn McBryde, both of Red Springs, NC,  and Genesis Blue of Raeford, NC; his parents, Iris Dickerson (Anthony) and Herman Hancock, all of Southern Pines; siblings, Johnny Wilson (Jessica) of Aberdeen, NC, Tamara Wilson (David) of Vass, NC, Shamara Hancock of Charlotte, NC, Maurice Shields of Raleigh, NC, Tamela Hancock, Kelly Hancock, and LaToya Ingram, all of Southern Pines; and his fiancée, Jacquelyn McLaughlin of Red Springs.  Fabian will also be dearly missed by his two “Bonus children”, Christopher Waters, Jr. and Tyeshae Waters, both of Red Springs, as well as two of his favorite great-aunts, Elizabeth Mack and Ethan Carter, his granny, Jacqueline McLaughlin, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
