Mr. Edward Saunders Sr., age 80, of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Southern Pines, North Carolina, died Friday, November 11, 2022, at his home.  He was a United States Army veteran.

 

Those left with many fond memories of Edward are, his wife, Rondel Saunders; his loving daughters, Danielle Saunders of Charlotte, NC, Briana Crawford (Cordaryl) of Charlotte, Davida Powell of Charlotte, Donna Saunders Work, Angela Taylor (Patrice) of Aberdeen, NC, Dinah Saunders Thomas (Jeffery) of Aberdeen, Pam Wessels of Philadelphia, PA, and Felicia Bailey (Jeene) of Maryland; two sons, Edward H. Saunders Jr. of Washington, DC and Bryan Saunders of Charlotte; his sister, Jacqueline Nealy of Southern Pines, NC; two sisters-in-law, Regina Saunders of Virginia, and Linnie Saunders of Pinebluff, NC; thirty grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and

dear friends.
