Mr. John Phillip Shaw, 69, of Southern Pines, North Carolina, died Sunday, October 6, 2019, at his home.

Survivors:  Wife, Birtha Shaw; children, Angela, Brandon, and John Shaw, Jr., and Shuris Campbell; siblings, Geraldine Shaw, and Mary Katherine, Leo, Vincent, and Carolyn Young, and Faye Ellis, Elaine Cooper, Allen Bryant, Jr., and Diane Bryant; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special friend, Roger Bittle; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
