Miss Jessie Mae Person, 63, of Eagle Springs, North Carolina, died Saturday, June 27, 2020, at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Miss Person was educated in the Moore County Schools system and graduated from North Moore High School.  She was a very active longtime member of Revival Temple Church Of God In Christ in Troy, North Carolina.  Singing in the church choir was something she truly enjoyed.

As a loving, compassionate person, Jessie answered a special calling by working as a caregiver for much of her life.  She was also employed at Manor Care of Pinehurst for many years.

Miss Person will be dearly missed by her siblings, Agnes Lucille Person, Bobby L. Person (Teresa), David I. Person (Gwendolyn), and Adam L. Person; two uncles, Vander Spencer and Homer Chambers (Margaret); five aunts, Elizabeth Cook, Lois Jean Gillespie (James), Sadie Chambers, Rudy Chambers, and Mazerine Chambers; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Kennedy and Iola Kennedy; two Goddaughters, Tina Horne and Shamarria Gillespie; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and dear friends.

In addition to her late parents, four of Miss Person’s brothers preceded her in death, Robert Kennedy, Leonard Kennedy, James Person, and John Person.
